freeze..
what is this..
this feeling i've never felt before
could it be?
is this it?
too hard to tell
emotions are scattered
i'm open to this..
this feeling of excitement..
this unknown feeling of lust..
could it be..
is she the one..
..or is this a dream?
pinch me...
because this feels too good to be true.

addicted

i'm starting to agree wth the statement
"absence makes the heart grow fonder"
because i miss you more and more everyday...

FuCkZ WiiT iT !

One of my favorite Alt. Rock groups, The Artic Monkeys hail from the other English speaking country. These guys have a sound unlike most bands i've heard, and it's good...obviously. Check them out! I'll leave you with my favorite song by them; Brainstorm. Enjoy, and head to FYE to buy their latest album, "Humbug".

Track Of The Day:

Water by Lauryn Hill (From MTV's UNPLUGGED 2.0)

Typical Late Nights

Just realized, the number one site I hit (aka: Twitter :]) isn't even up! But yes, this is what my school nights usually consist of.

Now, the news story about the famous street artist Shepard Fairey: the man behind "OBEY", is facing 6 months for vandalism. Yeah thats right, the legend may face jail time. I know some of you are like, who the fuck cares.. but this guy is the reason i take my art hella serious. He is the man behind "Wheatpasting" and alot of stencil-grafiti. He's been working on something for a museum in Boston, but plans were halted after his arrest. I'm hoping for the best.. the legend should not be locked up.

mmm :]

i know, it's an unlkely match. but it's an unikely match made in heaven!! :]]

THIS MADE MY FUCKIN NIGHT!

Track Of The Day:

Lips Like Suicide by Trencher

Woodstock:

Wow. If i had lived back in the 60's, i would have for sure been to Woodstock. For one, it was an era of some of the greatest music that I'VE ever heard; Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, and Arlo Guthrie just being a couple of those artists. Theres something about that era all together that just fascinates me. The art for sure. Everything back then had the psycadelic feel. Since hallucinagenic drugs were back then, the art was made for you to trip over, ie: tie dye designs.

Everything was about peace and equality. Even though these were back in the times of segregation, everyone that came here came together like family. Thats all that matters, good, chill people enjyoing some of the greatest music ever. The closest thing that my generation will have to Woodstock is fucking Warped Tour, which gets worse every year in my opinion. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but i think a Woosdtock revival should be in the works. :]

yes..

yess... we're back in action

The "Look"

I remember when i used to check Hypebeast and Karmaloop five times a day just to see the newest drops. I was a self-proclaimed hypebeast, copping every new sneaker, tee and denim i could get my hands on. It was an expensive obsession, but it wasn't me. Middle school was the time where i struggled to find my own identity, and i began conforming to the norm, listening to the same music, wearing the Phat Farms(hahaha) the whole nine yards. Even in high school, i had the newest SB's, the Stussy Drops and the 501's. I look back and laugh. That wasn't me. I was hardly ever comfortable in what i wore; the tight jeans being the only exception. Look at me now. I'm hardly ever dressed up anymore. My cut up flannel, Tom Sawyer denim and my busted ass Van's are what i feel comfortable in. Fuck the newest pair of SB's, i could give two shits about my G-Shock watches too. I'm doing me for the first time in my life, far from a trendsetter.
don't ever try to fix something that's already broken
once it's gone, it's gone
theres no going back...

Maestro Knows Episode 9

Maestro Knows - Episode 9 (Nike Campus) from Maestro Knows on Vimeo.

Maestro takes a tour of the Nike Campus in Portland, Oregon and tests the new Nike iD Hoodie program! I've been following Maestro's video blog since day one, always look forward to his new ones.

good morning

Yeah, finally getting into the swing of things with school. This is what i look like when i wake up..
I dread mornings, and even though i don't have to wake up nearly as early as the previous two semesters, it still sucks not being able to sleep until i feel like getting up. Anyways, i'm taking five classes this semester, Math, Eng/Red, Graphic Design, and Psych. Thoughtmaybe a full schedule would do me justice since the job search went flat. But let me say, i'm still in summer mode. It didn't hit me that school was back in session untill i saw my math grade recently, don't really wanna talk about it haha. Taking them all at the North Campus, away from all the bruh bruhs and parking commotion at Central. Hope this semester flies, it is so far. I'm just so ready for Savannah next year, i'll be taking classes actually worth taking. Well, enough of me blogging, off to Math i go!

if you love me, you'd hook me up :]

HEY CLICK THIS! :]

Track Of The Day:

Starlite by Panacea:

Definatly one of many hella dope tracks by this D.C. based Hip-Hop duo, composed of MC Raw Poetic and DJ Murdock. This song is off of there "Ink Is My Drink" EP which is dfinatly worth peeping.I found the album [finally] at Lunchbox Records in Downtown Charlotte.
my good friend Hbri got me craving some new vinyl, check out this beauty :]
There's something about these rare beauties that fascinate me. Could it be the artwork? could it be the influence of my musical idol J-Dilla? Whatever it is, i love it. My collection thus far only features a few Wu-Tang gems and a Time Machine cover. I'm ready to start stacking my crates, so i'm heading to Lunchbox Records in the NoDa district of Downtown Charlotte tomorrow afternoon. Consider this the begining of a healthy addiction. :]
incredibly goregous.. amazingly, beautifuly, unreplacable
when i'm with you
nothing else matters
all my problems
are forgotten when you're in my arms
you're my ticket away from the ordinary
the reason i wake up with a smile
you're the reason i live everyday to the fullest

when i'm not with you
i'm always thinking of you
and when i'm not thinking of you
i'm always speaking abou you
every little thing reminds me of you
our song
our first kiss
the day we met..
our first date.

you make me feel things i've never felt
i've never met anyone as perfect as you
i think about how ar we have gotten everyday
and how much further we will fall in....
